Smugglers Hotel

Why come to stay with us?
Because you’re not just booking a bed — you’re booking an experience. The Smugglers Hotel offers more than a place to sleep. We offer a true taste of the West Country, where comfort meets character and every stay is served with heart.
Inside, you’ll find a relaxed atmosphere, rooms full of charm, and a welcoming log burner that crackles away in the cooler months. It is the perfect spot to curl up with a book or sip something local. Our cream teas are a local favourite, best enjoyed slowly with cream first (naturally) and a sea breeze not far off.
Food and drink is a big part of what we do. Our chefs serve up West Country steaks and locally caught fish, grilled in front of guests for a show as flavourful as the dish itself. On Sundays, we’re known across Brixham and beyond for our roasts, generous portions, crisp roasties, rich gravy and all the trimmings.
Whether you’re here for the harbour views, the hospitality, or just to escape the ordinary, The Smugglers is a place to savour slow moments, good company and proper food.
