Celebrating Poetry People – It’s Fab! An afternoon of poetry at Brixham Theatre. Free, drop in.
What to expect at Celebrating Poetry People – It’s Fab!
Poetry runs right through this year’s Festival of Arts Brixham, from Robert Garnham’s workshop and open mic to Harula Ladd’s three-minute poems, and this afternoon at the theatre is a celebration of poetry and the people who love it.
Come along to listen to local voices on the stage of Brixham Theatre, the volunteer-run, Grade II listed Victorian theatre in the Town Hall on New Road. It runs from 1:30pm to 3pm on Thursday 29 October. Entry is free and drop-in, so there is no need to book. Later the same evening the FAB Big Read adults’ book group meets at Brixham Library, a minute’s walk away.
