Detailed Figure Drawing with Mark Bell

Where his dynamic life drawing session is about speed and gesture, this class slows things right down. Detailed figure drawing gives you time to study proportion, structure, light and shade, and to build a careful, considered drawing of the human form.

Mark Bell trained at Central Saint Martins and paints in styles ranging from the life-like to the boldly graphic, often drawing on dancers and musicians for subject matter. A Kick Up The Arts at 6 Bolton Street is his working studio. The session runs from 1pm to 3pm on Thursday 22 October as part of the Festival of Arts Brixham. It costs £10, and places are limited, so book ahead with AKUTA.
