What to expect at Buckfast Abbey Conference Centre (DBS 2026)

Buckfast Abbey is located just off the A38, between Plymouth and Exeter. The Abbey is home to a Community of Roman Catholic Benedictine Monks. Not only do we welcome visitors to Buckfast Abbey as a place of beauty, tranquillity and spiritual nourishment, but also for our vast hospitality offering including the Grange Restaurant, Gift Shop, Northgate House Hotel and St Cuthberts Conference Centre.

The Conference Centre has 8 fully equipped meeting rooms with capacity for up to 130 delegates within one space. We offer packages to include refreshments, a two course buffet lunch and our delicious homemade biscuits. We are renowned for the quality of our catering with menus that celebrate seasonal, local ingredients.

Full day and half day options are available. Parking and Wi-Fi is complimentary. The majority of the rooms overlook the River Dart and beautifully maintained gardens that surround the Abbey. We hope to welcome you for your next meeting, conference or event.
