Family Community Ceilidh

A ceilidh is a traditional social dance where a caller teaches each set of steps before the music starts, so complete beginners, children and grandparents can all join in together. It is noisy, friendly and very hard not to enjoy.

The ceilidh runs from 3pm to 4:30pm on Saturday 24 October in the Scala, the largest hall at Brixham Town Hall, after a day of pop-up makers, art activities and dance workshops. It is free and drop-in – there is no need to book or bring a partner. It is part of the Festival of Arts Brixham, which celebrates intergenerational activity across the town.
