Hosted by Brixham Library
27 October 2026 at 10:30 — ends 27 October 2026 at 11:30
Recycle the Rhythm – a junk-music workshop for children at Brixham Library, making instruments and beats out of everyday rubbish. £2 per child; booking essential.
What to expect at Recycle the Rhythm – Make Music with Junk
Tins, tubs, bottles and boxes all make a sound, and in this hands-on session children discover how to turn them into shakers, drums and other instruments, then use them to play rhythms together. It is a playful introduction to music and to reusing things that would otherwise be thrown away.
The workshop runs from 10:30am to 11:30am on Tuesday 27 October at Brixham Library on Market Street, as part of the Festival of Arts Brixham. It costs £2 per child, and booking with the library is essential as places are limited.
