Hosted by A Kick Up The Arts
27 October 2026 at 19:00 — ends 27 October 2026 at 21:00
Sirens, Songs & Storytelling by Candlelight – a free evening of sea tales, songs and stories at A Kick Up The Arts. Booking essential.
What to expect at Sirens, Songs & Storytelling by Candlelight
Brixham has always been a town of the sea, and the sea has always been full of stories: sirens luring sailors onto the rocks, drowned bells, ghost ships and the songs fishermen sang to pass the night. This candlelit evening gathers songs and spoken stories in that tradition, just in time for the darker nights and Halloween.
It runs from 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday 27 October at AKUTA’s gallery at 6 Bolton Street, Brixham, as part of F.A.B. 2026. Entry is free, but places are limited, so book in advance with A Kick Up The Arts.
