Songwriting Day with The Music Factory at A Kick Up The Arts
Hosted by A Kick Up The Arts
25 October 2026 at 10:00 — ends 25 October 2026 at 16:00
A free day of songwriting with The Music Factory at A Kick Up The Arts – drop in to write, play and share songs. Part of ‘Make Music, Make Art, Make Friends’.
What to expect at Songwriting Day with The Music Factory
The Music Factory CIC has been making music with Brixham’s community for years through its MusicAtTheEdge workshops, which welcome everyone from eight to 80. For F.A.B. 2026 it brings a songwriting day to AKUTA: a chance to work on lyrics, melodies and ideas with other people, whether you already play an instrument or have never written a song before.
The day runs from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 25 October at 6 Bolton Street, alongside AKUTA’s Community Art Day. It is free and drop-in. The Music Factory is a founding partner of the Festival of Arts Brixham, and also performs its live concert at Brixham Theatre on 24 October.
