Urban Sketching at A Kick Up The Arts
Hosted by A Kick Up The Arts
30 October 2026 at 09:45 — ends 30 October 2026 at 13:00
A free morning of urban sketching around Brixham with A Kick Up The Arts. Booking essential.
What to expect at Urban Sketching
Urban sketching is drawing on location – sitting on a harbour wall or a street corner and recording what you see, quickly and honestly, in a sketchbook. It is a hugely popular worldwide movement because it needs very little kit and turns any town into a subject, and Brixham’s colourful terraces, steep streets and working harbour are ideal.
The session runs from 9:45am to 1pm on Friday 30 October, the final day of the Festival of Arts Brixham, starting from AKUTA’s studio at 6 Bolton Street. It is free, but places are limited, so book with A Kick Up The Arts. Dress for the weather.
